It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that one night I became very frightened when I did not find the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) on my bed. I reached out my hand to feel, and my hand struck the feet of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who was standing. And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was in the state of prostration and was supplicating: "O Allah! I seek refuge in Your pleasure from Your displeasure, in Your pardon from Your punishment, and I seek refuge in You from You. I cannot encompass praise of You; You are as You have praised Yourself."
