It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to supplicate: O Allah! I seek refuge in You from the trial of Hell and the punishment of Hell, from the trial of the grave and the punishment of the grave, from the evil of the trial of wealth and the trial of poverty, and from the trial of the False Messiah (Dajjal). O Allah! Wash away my sins with the water of snow and hail, and purify my heart from sins as You purify a white garment from dirt, and create distance between me and my sins as far as the distance between the East and the West. O Allah! I seek refuge in You from laziness, old age, sins, and debt.
