Hadith 24299

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once she borrowed a necklace from Hazrat Asma (may Allah be pleased with her), and during a journey, it fell somewhere and got lost. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent some people to search for the necklace. They found the necklace, but the time for prayer had come and the people did not have any water. The people intended to pray without ablution and complained about this to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so Allah Almighty revealed the command of tayammum. Upon this, Hazrat Usaid bin Hudair (may Allah be pleased with him) said to Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): May Allah grant you the best of rewards. By Allah, whenever any difficulty has come upon you which you have disliked, Allah has placed good for you and for all Muslims in it.
