Hadith 24284

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ زَكَرِيَّا ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي عَامِرٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي شُرَيْحُ بْنُ هَانِئ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَتْنِي عَائِشَةُ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ أَحَبَّ لِقَاءَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ، أَحَبَّ اللَّهُ لِقَاءَهُ ، وَمَنْ كَرِهَ لِقَاءَ اللَّهِ ، كَرِهَ اللَّهُ لِقَاءَهُ ، وَالْمَوْتُ قَبْلَ لِقَاءِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whoever loves to meet Allah, Allah loves to meet him, and whoever dislikes to meet Allah, Allah dislikes to meet him. And before meeting Allah, there is death.
