Hadith 24272

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) married her in the month of Shawwal and in Shawwal she was sent to his house. Now tell me, which wife had a greater share with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) than me? (Therefore, to say that the month of Shawwal is unlucky is incorrect.) For this reason, Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) liked that women should be sent to their husbands' homes in the month of Shawwal.
