Musnad Ahmad

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once a Jewish woman came to me asking for something and said, "May Allah protect you from the punishment of the grave." When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came, I asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Will there be punishment in the graves for us?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "May Allah protect (us)!" and mounted his ride. Meanwhile, a solar eclipse occurred. I also went out, and while I was between the chambers with the other noble wives, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) arrived. He went to his prayer mat, and the people formed the intention to pray behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stood for a long time, then bowed for a long time, then raised his head and stood for quite a while, then bowed again for a long time, then raised his head and stood for a long time, then performed a long prostration, then stood up, but this standing was shorter than the first unit. Similarly, the first bowing was shorter than the first bowing of the first unit, the standing was shorter than the first standing, the second bowing was shorter than the first bowing, and the prostration was shorter than the first prostration. In this way, there were four bowings and four prostrations. Meanwhile, the sun also became clear. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Your trial in the graves will be like the trial through Dajjal." After that, I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) seeking Allah's protection from the punishment of the grave.
