Hadith 24261

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، وَعَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، عَنْ حَرْبٍ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حِطَّانَ ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ حَدَّثَتْهُ ، قَالَتْ : " لَمْ يَكُنْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدَعُ فِي بَيْتِهِ ثَوْبًا فِيهِ تَصْلِيبٌ إِلَّا نَقَضَهُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would not leave in his house any cloth on which there was a sign of a cross, until he would remove it.
