Hadith 24260

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَا زَالَ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام يُوصِينِي بِالْجَارِ حَتَّى ظَنَنْتُ أَنَّهُ سَيُوَرِّثُهُ " ، قَالَ يَحْيَى : أُرَاهُ سَمَّى لِي أَبَا بَكْرِ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ ، وَلَكِنْ نَسِيتُ اسْمَهُ.
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Hazrat Jibreel (peace be upon him) continued to advise me to treat the neighbor well, to the extent that I thought he would make him an heir.
