يَحْيَى وَوَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا
هِشَامٌ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي
أَبِي ، عَنْ
عَائِشَةَ أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَأْمُرُ
بِقَتْلِ ذِي الطُّفْيَتَيْنِ يَقُولُ : " إِنَّهُ يُصِيبُ الْحَبَلَ ، وَيَلْتَمِسُ الْبَصَرَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to order the killing of those snakes which have a cut tail or are two-striped, because such snakes cause blindness and cause miscarriages in women.
