ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 2416

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ الْخُزَاعِيُّ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ بِلَالٍ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ : " أَنَّهُ تَوَضَّأَ فَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ، ثُمَّ أَخَذَ غَرْفَةً مِنْ مَاءٍ فَتَمَضْمَضَ بِهَا ، وَاسْتَنْثَرَ ، ثُمَّ أَخَذَ غَرْفَةً فَجَعَلَ بِهَا هَكَذَا يَعْنِي أَضَافَهَا إِلَى يَدِهِ الْأُخْرَى فَغَسَلَ بِهَا وَجْهَهُ ، ثُمَّ أَخَذَ غَرْفَةً مِنْ مَاءٍ ، فَغَسَلَ بِهَا يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى ، ثُمَّ أَخَذَ غَرْفَةً مِنْ مَاء ، فَغَسَلَ بِهَا يَدَهُ الْيُسْرَى ، ثُمَّ مَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ ، ثُمَّ أَخَذَ غَرْفَةً مِنْ مَاءٍ ، ثُمَّ رَشَّ عَلَى رِجْلِهِ الْيُمْنَى حَتَّى غَسَلَهَا ، ثُمَّ أَخَذَ غَرْفَةً أُخْرَى ، فَغَسَلَ بِهَا رِجْلَهُ الْيُسْرَى ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : هَكَذَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " .
Ata bin Yasar says that once Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) performed ablution; in it, he washed his face, took a handful of water and rinsed his mouth, put water into his nose, then took another handful of water and, joining the other hand with it, washed his face, then took a handful of water and washed his right hand, then took a handful of water and washed his left hand, wiped his head, then took a handful of water and poured it over his right foot and washed it, then took another handful of water and washed his left foot, then said that I have seen the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) doing it in this manner.
