ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 2415

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا قَزَعَةُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سُوَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لَا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَى مَا أَتَيْتُكُمْ بِهِ مِنَ الْبَيِّنَاتِ وَالْهُدَى أَجْرًا ، إِلَّا أَنْ تَوَدُّوا اللَّهَ ، وَأَنْ تَقَرَّبُوا إِلَيْهِ بِطَاعَتِهِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "For the clear signs and guidance that I have brought to you, I do not ask you for any reward, except that I say this: Love Allah, and seek closeness to Him by obeying Him."
