Hadith 24127

حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ رَضِيعِ عَائِشَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " مَا مِنْ مَيِّتٍ يُصَلِّي عَلَيْهِ أُمَّةٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ يَبْلُغُونَ أَنْ يَكُونُوا مِئَةً فَيَشْفَعُونَ فِيهِ إِلَّا شُفِّعُوا فِيهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that if a group of about one hundred Muslims offers the funeral prayer for a deceased Muslim and intercedes for him, their intercession for him is accepted.
