Hadith 24125

حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَخِي عَمْرَةَ يَعْنِي هَذَا مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَت : " كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُخِفُّ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ حَتَّى أَقُولَ قَرَأَ بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ أَمْ لَا ؟ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to perform the (Sunnah of Fajr) so briefly that I would say, "Did the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) even recite Surah Al-Fatihah or not?"
