Hadith 24120

حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، تَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا وُضِعَ الْعَشَاءُ ، وَأُقِيمَتْ الصَّلَاةُ ، فَابْدَءُوا بِالْعَشَاءِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When food is served and the prayer is also established, then eat the food first.
