Hadith 24118

حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَت : سَابَقَنِي النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَسَبَقْتُهُ ، فَلَبِثْنَا حَتَّى إِذَا رَهِقَنِي اللَّحْمُ سَابَقَنِي فَسَبَقَنِي ، فَقَالَ : " هَذِهِ بِتِيكِ " ..
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) raced with me, and I outran him in that race. After some time, when my body had gained weight, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) raced with me again, and this time the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went ahead and said, "This is the recompense for that time."
