Hadith 24115

Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) says that when Hazrat Rafi' bin Khadij (may Allah be pleased with him) passed away, he heard Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) saying that the deceased is punished because of the weeping of the people of the neighborhood over him. I went to Umrah (may Allah have mercy on her) and mentioned this to her. She said that Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) has said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said this regarding a Jewish woman, that these people are weeping over her and she is being punished. Then Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) recited this verse: "No bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another."
