Hadith 24104

حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ سُمَيٍّ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " كَانَ يُدْرِكُهُ الصُّبْحُ وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ ، فَيَغْتَسِلُ وَيَصُومُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that sometimes the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would be in a state requiring ghusl (ritual bath) at dawn, and then he would perform ghusl and also observe the fast.
