حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ سُمَيٍّ ، وَعَبْدِ رَبِّهِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، وَأُمِّ سَلَمَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " كَانَ يُصْبِحُ جُنُبًا مِنْ جِمَاعٍ غَيْرَ احْتِلَامٍ ، ثُمَّ يَصُومُ " ، وَقَالَتْ فِي حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ : " فِي رَمَضَانَ ".
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) and Hazrat Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that sometimes the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would be in a state in the morning which made ghusl obligatory by choice, and then he would also fast.
