حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ ، عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ : أَنَا أَوَّلُ النَّاسِ سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةِ يَوْمَ تُبَدَّلُ الأَرْضُ غَيْرَ الأَرْضِ وَالسَّمَوَاتُ وَبَرَزُوا لِلَّهِ الْوَاحِدِ الْقَهَّارِ سورة إبراهيم آية 48 ، قَالَتْ : فَقُلْتُ : أَيْنَ النَّاسُ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ قَالَ : " عَلَى الصِّرَاطِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that regarding this verse "The Day when the earth will be changed to another earth..." , I was the first to ask the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about it. I said, "O Messenger of Allah! (When the earth is changed) where will the people be at that time?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, "On the Bridge of Sirat."
