Hadith 24062

Abu Bakr bin Abdur Rahman says that once my father and I went to the service of Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) and Hazrat Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her), so both of them said: Sometimes the Prophet (peace be upon him) would be in a state in the morning in which ghusl (ritual bath) was obligatory, and then he would also fast.
