Hadith 24022

حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَت : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ فِي سُجُودِ الْقُرْآنِ : " سَجَدَ وَجْهِي لِمَنْ خَلَقَهُ ، وَشَقَّ سَمْعَهُ وَبَصَرَهُ ، بِحَوْلِهِ وَقُوَّتِهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say in the prostration of recitation: "My face has prostrated before the One Who created it and granted it the power of hearing and speech, and this prostration has also occurred with His ability and help."
