Hadith 24020

حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَت : " كُنْتُ أَفْتِلُ قَلَائِدَ هَدْيِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِيَدَيَّ " ، قَالَ مَسْرُوقٌ : فَسَمِعْتُ تَصْفِيقَهَا بِيَدَيْهَا مِنْ وَرَاءِ الْحِجَابِ وَهِيَ تُحَدِّثُ بِذَلِكَ ، " ثُمَّ يُقِيمُ فِينَا حَلَالًا " .
Masruq (may Allah have mercy on him) says that Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I used to braid the garlands for the sacrificial animals of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) with my own hands. While she was narrating this hadith, I heard the sound of her hands from behind the curtain. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to stay among us as a non-Mahram.
