حدثنا يحيي بنُ إَسحاق ، أَخبرنا ابنُ لَهِيعة ، عن عُبيد الله ابن أَبي جَعفرٍ ، عن عيسى بن طَلْحة ، عن عَمْرو بن مُرَّة الجُهَني ، قال : جاءَ رجلٌ إِلى النبيِّ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَّيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فقال : يا رسولَ الله ، شَهِدتُ أَن لا إِلا الله ، وأنَّك رسولُ الله ، وصَلَّيتُ الخَمْسَ ، وأدَّيتُ زكاةَ مالي ، وصمتُ شهرَ رمضانَ ، فقال النبيُ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَّيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَن ماتَ على هذا ، كان مع النبيِّين والصِّدِّيقينَ والشُّهداءِ يومَ القيامةِ ، هكذا ونَصَبَ إِصبعَيه ما لم يَعُقَّ والدَيهِ "
Yahya ibn Ishaq narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'a informed us, from Ubayd Allah ibn Abi Ja'far, from Isa ibn Talhah, from Amr ibn Murrah al-Juhani, who said: A man came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and said: O Messenger of Allah, I testify that there is no god but Allah, and that you are the Messenger of Allah, and I have performed the five prayers, paid the zakat on my wealth, and fasted the month of Ramadan. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever dies upon this will be with the Prophets, the truthful, and the martyrs on the Day of Resurrection—like this," and he raised his two fingers, "as long as he does not disobey his parents."
