حدثنا حسنُ بنُ موسى ، حدثنا ابن لَهِيعة ، حدثنا الرَّبيع بن سَبْرة ، عن عَمْرو بن مُرَّة الجُهني ، قال : كنتُ جالسًا عند رسول الله صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَّيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فقال : " مَن كان هاهنا من مَعَدٍّ فليَقُمْ " ، قال : فأخذتُ ثوبي لأقُومَ ، فقال : " اقعُدْ " ، ثم قال : " مَن كان هاهنا من مَعَدٍّ فليَقُمْ " ، قال : فأَخذتُ ثوبي لأقومَ ، فقال : " اقعُدْ " ، فقال الثالثةَ ، فقلتُ : ممَّن نحنُ يا رسول الله ؟ قال : " من حَمْيَر "
Hassan ibn Musa narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'a narrated to us, al-Rabi' ibn Sabrah narrated to us, from Amr ibn Murrah al-Juhani, who said: I was sitting with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and he said: "Whoever is here from Ma'add, let him stand." He said: So I took my garment to stand, and he said: "Sit down." Then he said: "Whoever is here from Ma'add, let him stand." He said: So I took my garment to stand, and he said: "Sit down." He said it a third time, so I said: From whom are we, O Messenger of Allah? He said: "From Himyar."
