Musnad Ahmad — Hadith 24009/75
حدثنا عبدُ الصَّمد ، حدثنا مُلازِمُ بن عَمْرو ، حدثنا عبد الله ابن بَدْرٍ ، أَن عبدَ الرحمن بن عليٍّ حدَّثه ، أَن أَباه عليَّ بن شَيْبان حدَّثه ، أَنه قال : صَلَّيتُ خلفَ رسول الله صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَّيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فانصَرفَ ، فرأَى رجلًا يُصلِّي فَرْدًا خَلْفَ الصفِّ ، فوقفَ نبيُّ الله صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَّيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حتى انصرفَ الرَّجلُ من صلاتِه ، فقال له : " استَقبِلْ صلاتكَ ، فلا صلاةَ لفَرْدٍ خلفَ الصفَّ "
Abdu al-Samad narrated to us, Mulazim ibn Amr narrated to us, Abdullah ibn Badr narrated to us, that Abdurrahman ibn Ali narrated to him, that his father Ali ibn Shayban narrated to him, that he said: I prayed behind the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and he turned around and saw a man praying alone behind the row. The Prophet of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, stood until the man finished his prayer, then he said to him: "Repeat your prayer, for there is no prayer for one who prays alone behind the row."
