حدثنا حسنُ بن موسى ، حدثنا شَيْبانُ ، عن يحيي بن أَبي كَثِيرٍ ، حدثني عيسي بن خُثَيْمٍ ، عن قيس بن طَلْقٍ الحَنَفيَّ ، أَن أَباه أَخبره ، أَن رجلًا جاءَ إلى النبيِّ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَّيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فقال : يا رسول الله ، " أيُصَلِّي أَحدُنا في ثوبٍ واحدٍ ؟ فسكتَ عنه ، فلما نُودِيَ بالصَّلاةِ ، قال : طارَقَ رسولُ الله صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَّيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بين ثَوْبَين ، فصَلَّى فيهما "
Hassan ibn Musa narrated to us, Shaiban narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, he told me, Isa ibn Khuthaym, from Qays ibn Talq al-Hanafi, that his father informed him, that a man came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and said: O Messenger of Allah, "May one of us pray in a single garment?" He remained silent about him, and when the call to prayer was made, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, wrapped himself between two garments and prayed in them.
