حدثنا عبد الصَّمد ، حدثنا مُلازِمُ ، حدثني هَوْذَةُ بن قيسِ بن طَلْقٍ ، عن أَبيه ، عن جَدِّه ، قال : كان رسول الله صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَّيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يُسَلِّمُ عن يَمِينِه وعن يَسارِه ، حتى يُرى بياضُ خَدِّه الأيْمنِ ، وبياضُ خَدِّه الأَيْسرِ "
Abd al-Samad narrated to us, Mulazim narrated to us, Hawdhah ibn Qays ibn Taliq narrated to me, from his father, from his grandfather, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, "would give salam to his right and to his left, until the whiteness of his right cheek and the whiteness of his left cheek could be seen."
