Musnad Ahmad — Hadith 24009/23
حدثنا أَبو النَّضْرِ ، حدثنا أيُّوبُ ، حدثني قيس بن طَلْقٍ ، قال : حدثني أَبي : أن رجلًا جاءَ إِلى النبيِّ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَّيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فقال : يا نبيَّ الله ، أيَتوضَّأُ أَحدُنا إِذا مسَّ ذَكَره ؟ قال : " هل هو إِلا بَضْعةٌ منك أو من جَسَدِك ؟ ! "
Narrated to us by Abu al-Nadr, narrated to us by Ayyub, narrated to me by Qays ibn Talq, he said: My father narrated to me: That a man came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and said: O Prophet of Allah, does one of us have to perform ablution if he touches his private part? He said: "Is it not but a part of you or of your body?!"
