حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ ، وَخَالِدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ ، أن النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " لَمْ يُخَمِّسْ السَّلَبَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Awf bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) and Khalid bin Waleed (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not take out a fifth (khums) from the spoils taken from the slain.
