حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ عَدِيٍّ ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الرُّقِّيُّ ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ، عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِتَبُوكَ مِنْ آخِرِ السَّحَرِ وَهُوَ فِي فُسْطَاطٍ أَوْ قَالَ : قُبَّةٍ مِنْ أَدَمٍ ، قَالَ : فَسَأَلْتُ ، ثُمَّ اسْتَأْذَنْتُ ، فَقُلْتُ : أَدْخُلُ ؟ فَقَالَ : " ادْخُلْ " ، قُلْتُ : كُلِّي ؟ قَالَ : " كُلُّكَ " ، قَالَ : فَدَخَلْتُ وَإِذَا هُوَ يَتَوَضَّأُ وُضُوءًا مَكِيثًا .
It is narrated from Hazrat Awf bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I sought permission to enter the house of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) at the time of suhoor and asked, "Should I come in completely or half?" The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Come in completely." So I went inside, and at that time the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was performing ablution excellently.
