حَدِيثُ أَبِي رَافِعٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُHadith of Abu Rafi' (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith 23876

حدثنا سفيانُ ، عن أبي النَّضْر ، عن عُبَيد الله بن أبي رافعٍ ، عن أَبيه ، عن النبي صَلَّي الله ِعَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قال : " لا أُلِفيَنَّ أحدَكم متَّكئًا على أَرِيكتِه ، الأمرُ من أَمْري مما أَمَرْتُ به ، ونَهَيتُ عنه ، فيقولُ : لا َندْري ، ما وَجَدْنا في كتاب الله اتَّبَعْناه " .
Sufyan narrated to us, from Abu al-Nadr, from Ubayd Allah ibn Abi Rafi', from his father, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "Let me not find one of you reclining on his couch, when a matter from my command comes to him, of what I have commanded or forbidden, and he says: 'We do not know; whatever we find in the Book of Allah, we follow it.'"
