Hazrat Abu Rafi’ (may Allah be pleased with him) says that once the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) visited all his pure wives in a single day, and after being with each one, he performed ghusl (ritual bath). Someone asked, “O Messenger of Allah! If you had performed ghusl only once (would there have been any harm)?” The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, “This way is more pure, better, and cleaner.”
