حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، أخبرنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، أخبرنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو النَّضْرِ ، أَنَّ عُبَيْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أَبِي رَافِعٍ حَدَّثَهُ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَأَعْرِفَنَّ مَا يَبْلُغُ أَحَدَكُمْ مِنْ حَدِيثِي شَيْءٌ ، وَهُوَ مُتَّكِئٌ عَلَى أَرِيكَتِهِ ، فَيَقُولُ : مَا أَجِدُ هَذَا فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Rafi' (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I know of a person among you to whom a hadith of mine reaches, and he, reclining on his couch, says: I do not find this command in the Book of Allah.
