It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Rafi’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sacrificed two beautiful, castrated rams and said: One of them is on behalf of every person who bears witness to the oneness of Allah and to the Prophethood of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the other is on behalf of himself and his family. The narrator says that in this way, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sufficed for us.
