قَرَأْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ : مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْهَادِ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ التَّيْمِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ ، قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ : فَلَقِيتُ بَصْرَةَ بن أَبَي بَصْرَةَ الْغِفَارِيَّ ، قَالَ : مِنْ أَيْنَ أَقْبَلْتَ ؟ فَقُلْتُ : مِنَ الطُّورِ ، فَقَالَ : أَمَا لَوْ أَدْرَكْتُكَ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَخْرُجَ إِلَيْهِ مَا خَرَجْتَ إِلَيْهِ ، سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " لَا تُعْمَلُ الْمَطِيُّ إِلَّا إِلَى ثَلَاثَةِ مَسَاجِدَ : إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ ، وَإِلَى مَسْجِدِي ، وَإِلَى مَسْجِدِ إِيلِيَاءَ " أَوْ " بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ " يَشُكُّ .
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he met Hazrat Abi Basrah Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) and asked, "Where are you coming from?" He replied that he was coming from Mount Tur. Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "If I had met you before your departure, you would never have undertaken that journey, because I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: 'Mounts should not be saddled except for visiting three mosques: Masjid al-Haram, my mosque, and Masjid al-Aqsa.'"
