It is narrated from Hazrat Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him) that once in the presence of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), I said that we find in the Book of Allah that on Friday there comes an hour such that if a Muslim servant attains it while he is praying, whatever he asks from Allah, He will surely grant it. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) indicated with a gesture that hour is very brief. I said, "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) has spoken the truth." Abu Salamah says that I asked Hazrat Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him), "Which hour is that?" He replied, "The last hour of the day." I asked, "Is it not the hour of prayer?" He replied, "Why not? When a Muslim servant, after performing prayer, sits in the same place waiting for the next prayer, he is counted as being in prayer."
