Hadith 23780

حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْفُضَيْلُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سُلَيْمَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي يَحْيَى ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ خُنَيْسٍ الْغِفَارِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَلَامٍ ، قَالَ : " مَا بَيْنَ كَدَاءٍ وَأُحُدٍ حَرَامٌ ، حَرَّمَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، مَا كُنْتُ لِأَقْطَعَ بِهِ شَجَرَةً ، وَلَا أَقْتُلَ بِهِ طَائِرًا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him) that the area from this place, i.e., from Kada to Uhud, is "Haram" which the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) has declared as Haram. Therefore, I can neither cut any tree here nor kill any bird.
