Hadith 23720

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ خَلَقَ مِائَةَ رَحْمَةٍ فَمِنْهَا رَحْمَةٌ يَتَرَاحَمُ بِهَا الْخَلْقُ ، فَبِهَا تَعْطِفُ الْوُحُوشُ عَلَى أَوْلَادِهَا ، وَأَخَّرَ تِسْعَةً وَتِسْعِينَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Salman Farsi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Allah Almighty has created one hundred mercies, of which one mercy is such that through it the creation shows mercy to one another, and even wild animals show compassion to their offspring, and ninety-nine mercies have been reserved for the Day of Resurrection.
