Hadith 23714

حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ التَّيْمِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ ، قَالَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَيَسْتَحِي أَنْ يَبْسُطَ الْعَبْدُ إِلَيْهِ يَدَيْهِ يَسْأَلُهُ خَيْرًا ، فَيَرُدَّهُمَا خَائِبَتَيْنِ " . .
Hazrat Salman Farsi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Allah Almighty feels shy that any of His servants raises his hands before Him and asks for something, and He returns them empty-handed.
