حَدَّثَنَا
رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا
الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ ، عَنْ
عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، عَنِ
الصُّنَابِحِيِّ ، عَنْ
رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ :
" نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْغُلُوطَاتِ " ، قَالَ الْأَوْزَاعِّيُّ : الْغُلُوطَاتِ : شِدَادُ الْمَسَائِلِ وَصِعَابُهَا.
It is narrated from a Companion (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade "ghuluwat." Imam Awza'i (may Allah have mercy on him) explains its meaning as those issues in which there is severity and difficulty.
