حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي الزُّبَيْدِيُّ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ ثَعْلَبَةَ بْنِ صُعَيْرٍ الْعُذْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ " مَسَحَ وَجْهَهُ زَمَنَ الْفَتْحِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abdullah bin Thalabah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed his hand over his face at the time of the conquest of Makkah.
