حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " يُوشِكُ أَنْ يَغْلِبَ عَلَى الدُّنْيَا لُكَعُ بْنُ لُكَعٍ ، وَأَفْضَلُ النَّاسِ مُؤْمِنٌ بَيْنَ كَرِيمَتَيْنِ " ، لَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ.
It is narrated from a Companion (may Allah be pleased with him) that soon the world will be dominated by the most despicable of the despicable, and the best person is that Muslim who is between two honorable things.
