حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ نَفَرٍ مِنْ بَنِي سَلِمَةَ ، قَالُوا : كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَالِسًا فَشَقَّ ثَوْبَهُ ، فَقَالَ : " إِنِّي وَاعَدْتُ هَدْيًا يُشْعَرُ الْيَوْمَ " .
It is narrated from a group of Banu Salamah that once the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was sitting, when he took off his sewn clothes and said that a sacrificial animal had been sent, which would be marked today.
