It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was seen coming quickly towards his noble companions (may Allah be pleased with them), which made us anxious. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) reached near us, he said, "I was coming to you quickly so that I could inform you about the Night of Qadr, but in the meantime, its exact determination was made to be forgotten by me. However, you should seek it in the last ten nights of Ramadan."
