حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي شُعْبةُ ، عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبا وَائِلٍ يُحَدِّثُ , عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " إِذَا قَامَ إِلَى التَّهَجُّدِ يَشُوصُ فَاهُ بالسِّوَاكِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Hudhaifa bin Yaman (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would wake up, the first thing he would do was use the miswak.
