حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بنُ دَاوُدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بنُ جَابرٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بنِ مُرَّةَ ، عَنْ أَبي الْبخْتَرِيِّ ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ ، قَالَ : كُنَّا مَعَ النَّبيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي جِنَازَةٍ ، فَلَمَّا انْتَهَيْنَا إِلَى الْقَبرِ ، قَعَدَ عَلَى شَفَتِهِ ، فَجَعَلَ يَرُدُّ بصَرَهُ فِيهِ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " يُضْغَطُ الْمُؤْمِنُ فِيهِ ضَغْطَةً تَزُولُ مِنْهَا حَمَائِلُهُ ، وَيُمْلَأُ عَلَى الْكَافِرِ نَارًا . ثُمَّ ثُمَّ قَالَ : أَلَا أُخْبرُكُمْ بشَرِّ عِبادِ اللَّهِ ؟ الْفَظُّ الْمُسْتَكْبرُ ، أَلَا أُخْبرُكُمْ بخَيْرِ عِبادِ اللَّهِ ؟ الضَّعِيفُ الْمُسْتَضْعَفُ ذُو الطِّمْرَيْنِ ، لَوْ أَقْسَمَ عَلَى اللَّهِ لَأَبرَّ اللَّهُ قَسَمَهُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) that once we were with the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) at a funeral. When we reached near the grave, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sat at its edge and kept looking into it repeatedly. Then he said that a Muslim is squeezed in the grave once, by which all his burdens are removed, and for the disbeliever, the grave is filled with fire. Then he said, "Shall I not tell you who is the worst servant of Allah? Every harsh and arrogant person." "Shall I not tell you about the best servants of Allah? Every weak person who is oppressed, who wears old sheets, but is such that if he swears by Allah's name for something, Allah surely fulfills his oath."
