حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ وَلِيدِ بنِ عَبدِ اللَّهِ بنِ جُمَيْعٍ ، عَنْ أَبي الطُّفَيْلِ ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ , أَنّ النَّبيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ فِي سَفَرٍ ، فَبلَغَهُ عَنِ الْمَاءِ قِلَّةٌ ، فَقَالَ : " لَا يَسْبقْنِي إِلَى الْمَاءِ أَحَدٌ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Hudhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once, during a time of intense heat, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) set out and told the people that there was very little water, so no one should reach that place before me.
