Hadith 23400

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ ، عَنْ زِرِّ بنِ حُبيْشٍ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ لِحُذَيْفَةَ : أَيُّ سَاعَةٍ تَسَحَّرْتُمْ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ قَالَ : " هُوَ النَّهَارُ إِلَّا أَنَّ الشَّمْسَ لَمْ تَطْلُعْ " .
Zirr bin Hubaish says that once I asked Hazrat Hudhaifa bin Yaman (may Allah be pleased with him), "At what time did you eat sahur with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)?" He replied, "It was already morning, but the sun had not yet risen."
