ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 2334

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : كَانَ اسْمُ جُوَيْرِيَةَ بَرَّةَ ، فَكَأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَرِهَ ذَلِكَ ، فَسَمَّاهَا جُوَيْرِيَةَ ، كَرَاهَةَ أَنْ يُقَالَ : خَرَجَ مِنْ عِنْدِ بَرَّةَ ، قَالَ : وَخَرَجَ بَعْدَ مَا صَلَّى ، فَجَاءَهَا ، فَقَالَتْ : مَا زِلْتُ بَعْدَكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ دَائِبَةً , قَالَ : فَقَالَ لَهَا : " لَقَدْ قُلْتُ بَعْدَكِ كَلِمَاتٍ لَوْ وُزِنَّ ، لَرَجَحْنَ بِمَا قُلْتِ : سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ عَدَدَ مَا خَلَقَ ، سُبْحَانَ اللَّه رِضَاءَ نَفْسِهِ ، سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ زِنَةَ عَرْشِهِ ، سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ مِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِهِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the name of Sayyidah Juwayriyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) was Barrah. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not like this name and changed it to Juwayriyyah. The reason for this dislike was that it might be said: "The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is coming from Barrah." The narrator says that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) left after prayer and came to Sayyidah Juwayriyyah (may Allah be pleased with her). Sayyidah Juwayriyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "O Messenger of Allah! After you left, I have been sitting here continuously." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to her: "After I left you, I said a few words which, if weighed, would outweigh all the glorifications you have recited, and those words are: «سُبْحَانَ اللّٰهِ عَدَدَ مَا خَلَقَ اللّٰهُ سُبْحَانَ اللّٰهِ رِضَاءَ نَفْسِهِ سُبْحَانَ اللّٰهِ زِنَةَ عَرْشِهِ سُبْحَانَ اللّٰهِ مِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِهِ.»"
