حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي وَاصِلٌ ، عَنْ أَبي وَائِلٍ ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ أَنّ النَّبيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَقِيَهُ فِي بعْضِ طُرُقِ الْمَدِينَةِ ، فَأَهْوَى إِلَيْهِ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ : إِنِّي جُنُب ، قَالَ : " إِنَّ الْمُؤْمِنَ لَا يَنْجُسُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) that once he met the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in a market of Madinah Munawwarah. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) extended his hand towards him for a handshake, so I said, "I am in a state of impurity by choice." The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "A believer does not become impure."
